So is it ok to clean that grease that comes out around where the hood hinge, door hinge, and trunk hinge bolt up. They leak grease, and I clean all the jams every week on the car, that gunk is pretty hard to wipe off.

Am I supposed to wipe it off? or am I supposed leave it for a reason?

you can wipe it off.i use wd40 to lube the hindges every couple of months.
