No offense to anyone, but Im not at all into the VIP thing. No 20 inch + wheels for me and no drop. Thats another reason why I think the visors might not look as good to me as they might stand out on a car that will otherwise be quite conservative. Its the look I dont like but the functionality I do want.

The JDM visors are nice and very well built. They are low profile and do not protrude out from the car much. They have a nice classy look to them. They are nothing like the typical "vent shade" type visors.

I had MacNiel WeatherTech visors on my black '04 UL. Looked great, but too many problems. They increased wind noise, and caused wear on the forward portion of the front windows to the point that I had to have the weatherstripping replaced. These were the in-channel type instead of the stick-on type. More often than not when rolling up the window the anti-pinch would activate and cause the window to go back down. Not worth the trouble on the LS.

I also have these deflectors on my F350 and Pacifica, and they are wonderful on those vehicles.

They look like they belong on a riced up honda civic, not the 430.

Dark tint, almost black with the small chrome trim to match the doors is the bomb.
i meant chrome trim on the top.

Oh wow, THATS really good to know, thanks! Im really surprised to read that, Ive had them on other vehicles without any issues. And they made even more noise? That would eliminate my want fo them altogether then. dang!

Yes there was an obvious 'chuffing' sound from both front windows, especially the right-front where the weatherstrip was tearing. If the car was not so quiet otherwise, the noise wouldn't be so noticable but it bugged my wife and I so much we removed the deflectors. Like I said before, these deflectors are great in our other two vehicles, but not the LS.

The tightness of the window in its channel activated the anti-pinch with the deflectors installed and caused the windows to go back down. That was more agravating than the noise!

Thats not a problem with the JDM units. They are quiet and fit perfectly.

How would one source those and can I read up on them somewhere? Are they a ridiculous amount of money?

The visors I had trouble with were McNeill WeatherTechs. Don't know if that's the same as AVS.
