Default Bought a time machine!

Well not really but it almost seems like I traveled back in time to get this LS. It's an 06 with only 12k miles. I've been looking for a while and this is one of the most like new ones I have seen. As soon as I saw it I knew I would buy it, it really was in as-new condition.

I upgraded from an 03 GS430 which has been great to me but this LS is another level. I love the comfort and effortless cruising!

Couple pics including the LS and GS side by side in the garage for probably the only time:

It's the modern luxury with nav, levinson, vented seats, etc + smartaccess.

First thing I noticed from the GS is the comfort, and room, for example I'm 6'3" and this is the first car I've ever had where I don't have the driver's seat all the way back. Going down the road it just has a "presence" that the GS can't match. It just takes the smoothness and quiet to a new level.

I'm still learning all the new features, I think it will take me a while!

Nice! Tell us the story of how you found it and any history you may know.
I also just purchased a used '06 LS with the same equipment and similar mileage...less than 9,000 miles as I drove it away from the dealership. Moonlight pearl over cashmere.

Wow that is extremely low--I thought I had the lowest on an '06

It is interesting with these cars many are bought new by older/retired folks who simply don't put many miles on. In the case of my car it was owned by a guy who traveled a lot and had second homes so it was only used on weekends at best. He did get it serviced at lexus at least annually with the first service at only 3k miles but about a year after he bought it! Did the 10k service in December 09 so he only put on 2k from then to January 11. I did an oil change today as I feel that should be done at least once per year although the oil still appeared in good shape from the last service.

There are certainly some with low miles, I also saw a 04 with only 22k and an 05 with 21k.

Great car. You'll love it.
I got my 05 in 09 when it had 8200 miles. I love the idea that I got an almost new model of one of the best cars ever for a fraction of the original price.
