I found some generic ones from (don't laugh) of all places - Sears. Black rubber, blend with the black carpet well; hold quite a bit of melted snowy salt water. Looked everywhere for a Lex set, even used on eBay but no luck yet.

Yould could always buy the the weather tech mats if the Lexus ones don't get released in time. I too wanted the Lexus ones last year, but could not locate them. I bit the bullet and just ordered the weather tech ones. They are cut to the Lexus and even cover the dead pedal. Might be worth a consideration.

The rears are a perfect fit as well, you just need to slide them underneith the seat tracks.

My friend has those for his lx470 and they are a superb product. I wish I could have gotten those as well. Oh well, these work decently enough and serve there purpose. At least they are cut to an acceptable degree for the LS and not some autozone generic one size fits all mat.

I have a set of those WeatherTechs from my CTS. I didn't care for them because they really aren't custom fits and water leaked out of them. I put the rear ones in the back seat of my LS430. For the front, I've left in the factory carpeted mats as they look a bit worn, are rubber underneath (so they won't leak through), and they fit tightly to the edges of the footwell. I'll get some new, summer, carpeted mats in the spring (factory or Lloyd).

I ordered the Weather Tech mats because in general they are a great product. Upon arrival I found that they were a poor fit for the LS 430, especially the drivers front mat. You would also have to punch a hole in the mat to secure it with the hooks. After speaking with their customer service I was advised not to cut into the mat. I was told that the mats for the 430 are not custom made but are simply a close fit. Weather Tech issued a returned shipping tag for the mats and a refund. Their custom cut mats are a great alternative to factory mats but sadly as mentioned the 430 mats are not custom cut.

If you can get a set of Lexus mats I recommend them. When I bought my car it had a set of Lexus carpet mats in it and it also had a set of Lexus rubber mats in the trunk. I liked the rubber mats so much that I pulled the carpet mats and just use the rubber mats all year round. There is so much nasty, greasy stuff and dirt/gum/etc in parking lots, gas stations, and on the street these days, I feel like I need rubber mats all the time.
