Question Best Portable Steam Cleaner for my Car?

Can anyone recommend a steam cleaner I can use for the interior of my Lexus and other vehicles?

Thanks!

Looks like a Vapor Steam Cleaner is the way to go, but the question is -- which one? What's the best functionality for price? Granted I can probably come to my own conclusion with research, I'm actually looking to hear feedback from people who use VSCs to clean the interior of their cars so I can get "hands on" feedback, something the research really doesn't provide. Below is a link comparing a number of VSCs...

Any recommendations from those using them to keep their cars clean?

i use a vaporclean Desiderio. Its expensive but works amazingly well for automotive as well as home use. Iv certainly gotten my money worth from it. And let me tell you...using this machine after thinking my leather seats were clean shows you its true potential. Best tool for cleaning leather and door interiors period.

Yea that Desiderio looks great. I'd love to have one or maybe one of the smaller $500 units if they really work as well as the website says They do.

I suppose that if I still had a number of nice vehicles, a machine like that could pay for itself. However, i think paying for a good annual detail that steam cleans the interior of my one nice car may be a better route for me.

caddy - agree but I also would use it for spots on house rugs and we have large amount of white tile floors and white grout - difficult to keep the grout looking acceptable. I saw the web site says the steam machine is great for cleaning car leather seats - I'd be afraid to use hot steam on my LS seat.

hot steam is used regularly on many high end cars, there is no need to worry.

you DO NOT apply steam directly to the seat. You first spray a small amount of leather cleaner on 1 seat at a time. then attach a brush attachment and tie a clean microfiber or terry towel around the steam brush head. You will be amazed at what comes out of your seats onto that towel.
