Default Best tires for 2004 LS430?

Any recommendations on the best (sound/smooth/all weather - rain/snow/spring) tires for my 2004 LS430? (stock rims/sizes)

I was looking @ the Michelin's but they seem over prices; a friend said the Kumho and Toyos were good too.

Just wanted get some feedback from fellow owners on this.

Thanks!

I got Michelin Primacy.........everyone here was talking about it being "The tire for the LS 430" so i got them. I have no complaints in dry and wet conditions ..........havent tried snow yet. Happened to catch them at costco for 119$ each.............doubt you will find a deal like that anytime soon though...lol someone made a mistake

Michelin Primacy here also - tire started out a little rough and noisy but it got very smooth and quiet after about 200 miles. seems to be wearing very well. No issues at all.

I have Dunlop sport 5000 on right (came with the car). Tires are ok, but sometimes the LS slams over sharper bumps and I blame the tires for it. They are pretty quiet on the highway though I can hear them on concrete.

Why the Primacy vs. the Energy?

Also, has anyone tried the:
Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum 225/55/17
or
Toyo Versado LX 225/55/17?

I had Energy tires on my MKZ and they were not quiet or smooth enough for my taste.

Primacy here as well. Purchase decision based on various online reviews and forum comments. 6000-7000km on them since November 2009, rides extremely quiet and smooth on new pavement (would be very easy to exceed highway speed limit if you drive by road-feel) and very smooth on normal roads. Only place for improvement is wet traction.

I lose a few psi of pressure per month but I attribute that to chrome rims and lack of vehicle use (I drive less than 3 days a week and the car is garaged when not in use).

I do live in the Seattle area, so wet traction is important - but I want something all season - including being able to handle basic snow/slush when it occasionally happens.

Will check out the thread. Thanks!

Mine are 245/30R22 Falken FK 452. Too noisy. Had before Pirelli P0 Nero and will buy Pirelli the next time. Michelin has no 22's
