Yes, plenty of us have. My old 430 had them I hated the dingy yellow DRL look so I went with the LED DRL mod from V-LED.com:

I had the old kit that worked, looked fantastic and are hella bright! You def saw me coming, they stood out real nice.

Yes you do however.....

I re-aimed my headlamps up higher due to them being aimed low by the factory and have no need for high beams. The 430 projector HID's are incredible for light output and road coverage (Better than the 460) you won't believe (check out the pic below)

As you can see they are very capable and the most sought after projectors that are retro fitted in other vehicles, I don't miss the brights at all. Quite a few guys here have done this mod as well, just another option I'm putting out there.

Holy Hell! Look at that coverage! It almost seems natural to trade mine in for a newer LS430.

Default how do you adjust the lights? I can only figure out one side

I can only figure out one side. I have a 2002 without the projectors... am I hosed on that? I use high beams all the time...

You can adjust an 01-03 easily by just loosening a screw right under the hood on top of the lights, then you can tilt them up and down, its pretty simple and it explains it right on it.

On another note are the 04-06 lights significantly better then the earlier ones? I know it looks like they have a lens where as the early ones only have a diffuser or something like it.

Is it just the lens that makes it so much better?

It is the projectors design over reflectors to control the Hi-power HID bulbs beam pattern and dispersing it in an even road coverage. Also helps with glare and blinding oncoming drivers, you see it a lot with aftermarket HID kits being installed in reflector type designs made for halogen bulbs.
