These are pics of my little upgrade to the stereo in the Surfer. Two 10" JL audio w3v2 subs in self-made sealed enclosure and one JL audio 250/1 mono sub amp. Sounds great but i need more control of the bass. I may replace the amp with one that has a satellite control **** or install a rca control ****.

hey that looks pretty nice and i bet it would thump with a little more amp power. i have a single jl12w6 and a 500.1 amp all jl with the bass control ****. the amp is more than powerful but i was thinking that your speakers would prolly sound better. the single 12w6 is more for quantity and not quality. what are those speakers rated at power wise? would the 500.1 work better for them?

@ Vpanin, the box im using is one that i built some years ago and sat for awhile. I tilted the woofers to use fresh holes to screw the subs in. Gives me a better hold and tighter fight plus it looks a lil cool to me. @ Sojah, yes the 500 would definately give me more sound. The subs are rated at 300 watts rms. I really am considering the 500 because of the power increase but most importantly the control ****. The 250 dosen't have it and i need to be able to control the level of bass more.

Any rattle in the car from the bass? I remember back in the day when I used to run 15"s, bouncing quarters on the roof ahhhh memories.

Only a lil around the rear bumper. Although the 10's sound great, they're no earth movers. lol
