From the location of the pics, I assume that the OP is employed in law enforcement and may be following the local regulations or at least keeping the tint to a level officers would like to encounter when pulling a person over.

He is in FL. You can do 20% on the 3 rear windows and 30% on the two front. That is fairly dark in case you don't know tint. He would be crazy to let the sun/heat eat his interior for lunch by not putting on some type of protection. I see failing head liners and sun chapped leather on a regular basis. This can be avoided with tint and a sun shade in the front.

I've never seen saddle interior in an LS430. Is it rare or something you had done?

Saddle was offered on the custom and ultra luxury levels of the 04-06 LS430 and was pretty rare. Most of them are in black cars. I don't know about the 01-03 LS430s.

You will pay the price later. $150 spent now will save $1000 later. Its not just about the look, its about the protection. I assume you don't wax either, because you don't like the looks.
