Changing DRL's and fog lights for 05 LS430
I dont like the gloomy coloring on the DRL's and the fog lights.... BUT I dont really want to mess with the electrical and change them into LED or HID kits...
So, are there bulbs that I can just buy to just replace the existing factory bulbs to give me the next closest thing to LED or HID....I mainly just want pure white lights or white/bluish light?

If you get your lights from yellow to white in the DRL, then you will sacrifice your high beams. I would look into NOKYA Bulbs, or even PIAA.. I would get the color that shines 6000K. In my experience, I have used the NOKYA bulbs with no issues before, as long as they are rated 55W-60W. I recently blew a foglight bulb because water somehow got into the housing... little pissed about that... Either way, without HID or LED, you'll need a colored bulb that doesn't put out much light.
Beware of knockoff bulbs, buy from their Website.

LED Foglights
For what it's worth... here are pics from my recent change to LED foglights. Now the HID look like they're yellow.
The LED fogs don't cast as much light, just have the looks.

i just did hid fogs from a $70 kit purchased online and i was a little skeptical at first myself but i'll be damned if they don't put out like 3 times the amount of light my stock fogs did. only thing other than the fact that they are super freaking bright is that since i got 6k's and they look like white white lights with a hint of blue (they look more like 5k's to me) but they now make my normal hid headlights look like old lesser technology slightly yellowish headlights.

Defeated...
I have them, but I agree, LED are not good for fog lights if you think you need the fog lights. I did it purely for looks. I never found that the OEM fogs really did anything. The HID headlights light the way just fine.

Not from the bottom... I would think it's from the top of the engine bay. As for LED DRL, I can't imagine them emitting much usable light, but then again DRL are for other drivers, not for you.
