Not having good luck with this set of rims. About the 4th time now. First 2 times resulted in cracks, last time bend as well as this.

Heading onto the on ramp accelerating to freeway speed and WHAM, bone jarring slam into a deep pothole. Thud thud thud sound now coming from the rear and no shoulder to pull over on so drove a mile before the next exit. No damage to the front face, thank god which is chrome and would be a costly re-chrome, only the backside and this is the worst I've ever experience. Good thing I had a spare in the trunk. I don't think I'm going to repair this one. Luckily I purchased a spare front and back rim when I had a chance.
The tire is destroyed.

Word of advise....watch out for those potholes you guys in your 20"+

I'm not too PO about it. Comes with the territory when you ride in 20's.

Dayum pothole got you again, I hate that for you too! Since I have been riding 20's it is amazing how much you scan the road ahead for smooth pavement, but sometimes a rough patches sneek up on you. Here in the ATL they like to drop these large trap door metal plates on the road with some being raise at different heighs, they can be worse than rolling over a pothole.

Good thing you had a Plan B for such an issue, BTW very nice toy.

Ouch on the wheel...that really bites. It seems that I am constantly dealing with my rims and tires too. My inner side walls on my rear right collapsed and I need to get a new tire. Guess it paid this time to get the replacement warranty. Actually, I have already gotten the front two replaced under warranty.

Looking at replacement tires, anyone running 275/35/20 or 275/40/20 on the rears? Thinking this might give it some sidewall cushion.

I am going to try to run with 285/30/20 (currently running 275/30) in the rear to better match the 245/35/20's that I am running in the fronts. Tried searching the list to see if anyone reported any issues running this size.
