omfG!...that is incredible!!! when I read "preheat the oven to 350deg" I thought it was a joke and you were going to show sugar cookies in the shape of an LS or something..lolol! either way, the result was sweeeeet!

Being the conservative I am, I personally would have used white LEDS.
Question...did you TEST each LED before assembling them splicing them and wirenutting them all together? Even though LED's are extremely reliable and have a very long life, sometimes from the factory they are defective (out of box failure), or the leads (wires) could be flipflopped (positive vs. negative wires).

Also, I think the disassembly of your custom work (to replace a burned out LED, etc) will be more involved than the disassembly of the original/stock assembly?

I learned to take the color comments....some love the color some hate it and thats that.
if I go back to pure white one day...I plan on running all white leds and a strip of yellow/gold at the bottom.

but for now I love the look it gives....something about a blk car rollin illuminating the road in violet...insane!

Wow dude, I love this mod!!! Looks freaking awesome man. Kudos for sure! At first, I was like, whoa...that looks overkill, but it was so subtle on a black car w/ the fog lights the same color. Very nice.
