Default can you move CD changer inside glove compartment?

I really like this JVC KD-AVX40 to go inside the center stack where the CD changer is. Do you think this would work?

Valor claimed it is used in Limo's... but that's some BS.. (plus crutchfield sold them, so I thought it was decent quality)

The unit you want looks to be single DINN and the pictures you provided as a similiar single DINN unit so I don't see why it would not fit in the slot where the CD player is now with the proper kit.

The unit you had as an example looks like it probably sticks out too much where the door would not close. Your JVC unit looks flush enough that it should close.

I'm sure killlergs4 was asking "if it's possible to relocate the CD changer to the glove compartment and still have it working."

If it's still connected through the harness from the back, I don't see why not if you can extend the wires.

And if you have an ipod, then the changer would be obsolete, more so with the damn cassette player

cassette player is very essential to me because I'm too cheap to buy VAIS Lockpick for $300 bucks... I use the cassette player adapter to connect the factory audio to my Valor DVD player... (but I hid the wires so that they don't really show)

Ahhhhh... if that's the case, then I don't see why not with a long enough wire for the interface. The only problem I would see is that the glove box in the LS actually is NOT that big for the size that it looks. It has some weird angles that prevent easy positioning.

I don't know about other's but the manual fits JUST RIGHT, and I have a 20 CD holder that barely fits in there and it's not that big. If the changer unit for the JVC is typical of a single DINN unit, I would say it's probably NOT going to fit in there nicely.
