Black wood trim w/ Flint Mica avail?
Wondering if anyone knows if the black walnut wood trim was available in the 2006 LS430 with Flint Mica exterior. If so, would it be available to trade out the ugly orange wood that is currently the interior? Does anyone have that combination? Had it in my 2002 GS300 Sport Design edition. That wood interior was sharp!

Fits
The 5-speed shifter base was longer than the 6-speed's base, so unless you want to "patch" of do something to the approximately extra 2" or so gap (assuming the piece actually fits), then you won't be able to do anything.

I like your style, LSGrl75! I haven't seen the black walnut in person, but I'm a fan from the pictures I've seen online.
Maybe try looking for an aftermarket vendor? I've searched a little, but I have not seen that wood dash kit for the 04-06 LS430. Thanks to Alexus, I guess I now know why!

Nice interior... if you notice the shifter, the length is the same as the lighter compartment, whereas the '04-'06 would be about 2" shorter in length. Really, I'm not sure if the wood is actually the black birdseye, or if it's a dark varnish. I would think the "worse case" if you really can't find aftermarket match, is to remove the trim and revarnish it with a dark hue.
