Heads up on 2 Custom Luxury in Houston TX
Hey all,
There are two nice CL Black/Saddle and Black/Black LS430s at Westside Lexus in Houston, TX. Both do NOT have radar cruise. Both have excellent service records from Lexus dealers.
The Black/Saddle is very nice, but does have a few minor issues. It has ONLY 12,900 miles for a 2006 model!! Link: http://www.westsidelexus.com/VehicleDetails/454947643
It is a TX vehicle, one owner, and has been serviced by Lexus all its short life. BUT, for whatever reason, it is not certified...salesman said that he could certify it if i wanted to. Two issues: the passenger front door handle has scraped off paint on it...and front driver's seat has a stitch or two visible (loose). Otherwise, the leather is in great condition...backseat does not even looked like it was used at all. No NAVI DVD...but salesman said that he would order an updated one for the buyer. Wear and tear on the armrest is minimal to none. No other abuse marks seen.
The other Black/Black model has 37,000 miles, but its interior condition rivals that of the above Black/Saddle. It seems like the semi-aniline leather shows less wear than the Ecru or Saddle. This one is also Custom Luxury with the black semi-aniline leather. It has been serviced by Lexus dealer all its life. It is Lexus Certified. Link: http://www.westsidelexus.com/VehicleDetails/453948303
Asking price is kinda high for both, but i am sure that you can negotiate down.
Hope this helps someone.

saddle interior looks great
I love the saddle interior. $40,000 is a stretch. That car hasn't been broken in if it has that few miles. Once Lexus certifies it the cost will go up $3000.
Unless you really need the saddle you can definitely get e better deal elsewhere. If I were to spend $40,000 I would get a used LS460.
Just my thoughts...I love the 04-06 LS430. Hopefully that one will find a nice home.
Cheers,
Ian

Hi Tig
I believe that black/saddle model is CPO and has a navi system. Westside website has pics and I think that's the same one on ebay..12945 miles, cpo and nav. Price listed is 40,900...way too much even in that good condition. Just my opinion

I know it's got low miles, and 2006, but $41K is a VERY big stretch, and NOT CPO, so even bigger stretch. I think reasonable for this would be $36K given the low miles and no CPO.
Love the saddle, and would have probably gotten one had I found a good one when I was shopping, but having had the black/black for a while now, I think the black interior has a more luxurious look. Less striking...

Yeah, at 37k miles, the semi-aniline black leather actually had LESS creasing than the Saddle at 13k miles. But, then again, the 13k mile LS could have had a wide bodied driver. Anyway, the Saddle leather only had minor creasing...very minimal in fact.

tigmd99, I sent a email to Mel (internet sales) on Friday about this car, wanted the service history report on the car. Was going to go and look at it and the other blk/blk one they have listed. Then I was going to swing over to Sterling Danny (internet sales) and check on the 2 silver/blk ones they have. No response from Mel, so my plan is to now go this coming Saturday. Any input (if you are like me and just stop by and look all the time) on any of the cars is greatly appreciated. Black interior

I agree. $41k? My 05 black/saddle was flawless and had less than 8,300 miles on it when I got it this April. I thought I paid top dollar but it was still less than $36k.

Houston LS's
Both had very nice interiors, 8.5-9 out of 10. Black car had a billion little scratches (from the drive thru car washes) that might have come out, but another 20 or so were just deep enough where you would always be looking at them. Silver car had repaint on drivers rear Qtr & passenger front fender (confimed with paint meter). I passed on both cars.
