I have a 2003 LS430 with 2.1 navigation disk. I asked the local Lexus dealer what the latest upgrade disk is for my car and he said 8.1. I read many complaints about 8.1 and the lack of an override option that allows one to program the Nav while driving. That does not bother me.
Does anyone out there want to sell me their 8.1 Nav disk at a decent and low price?

don't forget to mention you have gen 3 navi disc, maybe you wan to post this in classified forum, however 8.1 is the newest, don't know why anyone would want to sell theirs..

You will not lose the override function in the Gen3 system (in the LS 01-03).
