Default Hardwire Valentine One

I have been searching the achieves tonight for information on how to hardwire a Valentine One. Most of the post I have found are old. LS007 posted the information below about 5 years ago. Has anyone improved on this since then?
My car is an 06 LS Ultra. Thanks!

<<<<These instructions are for 2001-2003, but I'm sure it would be the same for 2004.

Accessory power (ignition power P-IGN) is available in the overhead console. The console cover can be removed by poping out the lense and undoing a couple screws. Locate the 32 pin connector and P-IGN power is located on pin 26 as a light green wire with red stripe and GND is on pin 1 white wire w/ black stripe.

Accessory power is also available from your lighter plug in your lower center console. The center console is removed by removing the chrome shifter trim and poping all 4 corners of the wood cover. Below this is a wire connector going to your lighter plug. The pink wire on this connector is + power and white w/ black stripe wire is GND.

i had inquired about this when i first got my LS. i have done nothing since but i did purchase the concealed display from valentine. just cant think of a good spot to put it.

what i really want to do is get that screen setup somewhere and wire up the mute button to the back of the steering wheel where my hands rest as i drive.
