Default Taillamp Failure Problem

My 2001 430 gives me a message that there has been a "taillamp failure" when I turn on the driving lights. When I do a visual check I find nothing wrong. What should I do to correct this problem?

Thanks

that sounds like u have the wrong bulb .. once u put the right one it will come off... just not getting the right power so check your bulbs or if u just changed a bulb check it , it might not be the right voltage

I had the same issue. It was because I had a bulb replaced that was a non-Lexus bulb. It worked but it gave me that same warning which drove my crazy. I had the dealer replace it (it wasn't that expensive) and it corrected the issue.
