Default Timing Belt & Water Pump in Texas

Does anyone have good recommendations for any shops between San Antonio,Houston or Dallas who can do this service?

I am actually in Houston, but will drive for a good deal!

Thanks

Don't live in Texas, but suggest you check out the Toyota dealerships and shops in your area. Here in Greensboro, N.C. an LS430 90k servicing is 1700 bucks at the Lexus dealer and only $1000 at the Toyota dealership; and less, I suspect at some of our local shops including the ones we use for my '77 Excalibur and 1991 Buick. Since my 2002 LS430 is at 86k and my warranty runs out the end of August, I'm planning to get the 90k servicing done in early August at our local Lexus dealer (who has done all my servicing thus far) and bite the bullet for the 1700 bucks. Our "Lex" has served us well and with essentially no real problems; I think she (our "Lex") would get upset if I didn't continue almost all of the servicing there (I do have a local tire shop that does alignment work that won't quit; the tech and the alignment machine do an incredible job). One of my hobbies is automobile detailing and with 4 cars, I can stay busy here between cars, yard and garden plus the "honey do's".

Default The Toyota Dealer

I phoned the Toyota dealer that's closest to my employer and got a quote for the timing belt and water pump for a whopping $640!!!!!!

Should I ask for anything else or questions??

I have already changed the brakes, spark plugs, drive belt and tires (with Primacy MXV4s)
