The reason the A8 is so heavy is due to the Quattro, 4WD in a luxury sedan is pointless in my opinion unless the car is driven on snow

Yes the most important thing on the LS/A8/S-class/7 series is total comfort, but if it doesn't sacrifice any comfort, it doesn't hurt if it is a little responsive and handle good also.

Man I love the LS430
Yes, I agree -- I love the LS too, aside from the fact that it is the buy of the century in terms of value for the money. Price aside, the only luxury car out of the group named above that is a competitor in my mind is the '07+ S-class with Sport Package (non-sport package feels very "uninspiring" on the road, IMO). At a similar price I'd probably have to give the S-class a try -- awesome finish quality and overall feeling of quality about the vehicle, but they are still about $25K more costly than a good '05 LS430. I could see maybe an additional $10K or so, but just can't see $25K difference. Plus there's the concern of reliability (or lack thereof) with the MB's, though they seem to have gotten a lot better with the new S. AND the fact that they've literally been depreciating by about $1K per WEEK for the past 12-16 weeks.

I6turbo, I am with you, I love the 07'+ S550 with the AMG package too, and MB's reliability have gotten A LOT better since 06', but it is still no match to Lexus's reliability, especially since 07' is the 1st year of that S-class. And I would imagine longivity is a big concern too. Also since I am carpooling with my coworker in his 08' M3, I love the feel of newer BMW, I am sure a newer 7-series is fabulous.

But at the end of it, I prefer the feels and looks of the LS430, I don't know if me being Asian have anything to do with it. But I am sure being brought up around Japanese cars have A LOT to do with it.

I think the bottom line is, all European cars cost more to own over time compare to Japanese cars due to more maintance and repair. I do agree extremely highend Euro cars feels better then Japanese just because they are higher end. Because of that, I am going to stick with Lexus since I am a regular Joe with a regular budget. If I win the lotto though, I will be sure to switch to Euro, I love those Bentley and Aston Martin

Sorry I was busy all day, installed the wheel spacers, then I had to go to the dealer to get a new side mirror under warranty, now it is too dark out to take pic.

I took a pic in the garage for now, will take more in the sun tomorrow.

I don't think it will settle anymore, it already came down quite a bit compare to when I 1st got the springs in. I am pretty happy with the height on the rear, I like the fronts to be .25"~.50" lower. My front spacers will be here in 2 weeks, I'll wait til I get the front spacers in, then let it settle down for a few more weeks. If I still want it lower, I'll probably get the SS kit for the front only.

I see, Now I understand why you wanted the front to be lower a bit.. the front does look taller.
Hey Jeff, I thought you said you didn't like OEM wheels with spacers.
