22s.........
my roommate wants to buy a LS430, but he said he'd only buy it if he could fit 22s on them and not look stupid. he used to have a 7 series with 22s but his car got totalled...so he wants to know whether or not if he should consider the 430 cuz he "has" to have 22s.

7 series, S class, LS460, ok 300C/magnums and other big body cars can pull off the 22s and look awesome!
Vice versa, these cars would look stupid with smaller aftermarket wheels.
If my wife was going in for implants, she would look stupid coming out with FFF cups
It's all about proportions

i just sold my 20's that were on my gs and now i am trying to upgrade gs to ls, when i do i don't plan on going anything larger than 19 just because of the rough rough ride. i rode on 20's with 275x30x20 tires (rear) for the last 5 summers straight and i think i am done with that size rim & tire for good now. i think 2y5x40x19 (rear) is the smallest sidewall biggest rim i will ever own. big rims look nice 'sitting' in a parking lot but not so nice when you are cruising down any streets that are not 100% smooth.

Not sure why the concencus is anti 22. Honestly the ride isnt the same as stock but its really not bad. Really. A little vibration but comeon. I swear i wish i could take you guys for a ride with me. Aside from a 1/24th of difference in ride whats the issue? Looks?? Maintence? I mean again to each his own but i feel like bastard child of CL.....
Its lonely on 22's
