this was one of my old zenki kouki hybrids... i still have dreams about this car... kinda sad...

it started out mostly old school (zenki-ish) but everytime i crashed it or got hit or had to replace something i would put the newer (kouki-ish) lights or fender pieces/ bumpers & grills etc. a very expensive hobby i might add. the stereo is what turned the most heads on this car though... the bass was so so nice!

and for the REVERSE LED's.......
Which kit did you get for the reverse lights? Replacement is with type/item # 1156, but there are a few choices. Please share with me what you got & the cost for reverse LED's. Thanks

ps Your car looks awesome with this setup!

I think he used this one... we bought our DRLs on the same order but he ordered the reverse lights for his LS...I believe the reverse bulbs are 7440.

Do you know of any way to cross reference these to be sure? I have a 96 ES300. Would 1156's fit for your reverse on your 06 GS300. I went to the fitment guide at V-leds.com but unfortunately their list only shows replacement bulb numbers and there is no way to cross reference to confirm they'll fit.

If 1156 can fit into your ride, which is much newer than mine that would help me understand this dilemma. $19.99 is a sweet price to pay for better/brighter back up lights.

Thanks, enjoy the long weekend

I went here first...

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...de/default.htm

I looked up 96 ES300 and your reverse should be 1156.

Hope this helps...

My reverse is actually 921.

Yeah, I went to that same Sylvania page and found the 1156's, but I already knew that was the size.

The second link you gave me was very helpful and was what I couldn't find at V-leds.com. Thank you very much I'll make an order tomorrow or Monday after the Holiday. Enjoy the weekend and thanks again.

as you can see I have the factory HID on the low beams so you can compare it to the DRL's that its really not blue in person.....

Do you have HID's in your fog lights? and do you have them wired to your park lights so that your daytime runnning lights are on with them?

Yea its weird...did you install yours on an LS430? B/c w/ the module mine still tends to flicker a little, as I first turn it on, after it warms up it slows down alot. But I tried it w/ out the module and it flickers a whole lot more. But when I went to install my friends DRL on his 06 GS300. His didn't flicker at all. I think its our type of car? If you wanna check it out his thread is in the 3rd Gen section.
