Default Power door locks

Does anybody know how to disablr the auto locking system, or can it be done. I don't want the doors to lock when I drive away. Thanks

Only dealer can program this for you.

It's a dealer setting. Settings are lock when put into gear (i.e. D) which is default, or do not lock, or lock after going beyond 17 mph (or something). Dealer can do it and if you have service done there enough, they'll probably do it for free.

Wish we could set it ourselves. Mine currently locks when the car is set to D, but doesn't unlock at all when the car is set to park or with the keys are out. Well its a bit more secure and its almost no different then what I'm used to anyways.

I don't know if you like, or don't like the lock feature, but the dealer options for unlock are I believe once you put into "P", or unlock all within 10 seconds of putting in "P" and unlocking the driver's door. There are options for unlock also.

I generally prefer to have my doors locked when the car is in parked or the key out. Gives me a little more protection against car-jackers and zombies.
