Default Should I Get Ecru/Ivory Interior

Alright! I think I am finally ready to pull the trigger on my purchase. I'm getting a 2004-5 LS430. Silver/Flint Mica/Black/Cypress Pearl/Crystal White(although it most commonly has the Ecru interior, i hear it's very difficult to match the paint in an accedent, so it is my last choice)

I want the 18" "Euro Suspension" wheels (chrome preferably), and the Euro suspension would be great (although it looks unlikely)

I'm looking to spend 25-30k plus tax (when everyone brags about the prices they get I assume they are pretax correct?)

SO NOW THE BIG QUESTION

<BR>
I am really very fond of the Ecru/Ivory Interior with the light Birdseye Maple wood. The car will have around 50k on it. How should I expect the interior to look compared to new? How about at a 100k and beyound? How does this color fair?

How easy & expensive is it to change the wood out? And is it possible to do cleanly?

Can't answer the longevity question, but I have that interior w/ flint and love it more every day.

I will say when cleaning the seat, I noticed the paint was a little flaky in the typical location closest to the door, where it gets the most abuse when getting in or out. I'd expect that minimally.

I have the same interior as boomer and it is beautiful. I Love the color; but I hate the fact that it gets dirty so easily.

I have the ecru on my 05 and love it,, use Lexol about three times a year to clean and condition it,, with 36k on the clock it still looks new and would expect it to continue till the 100k very easy,,

I take it Ecru doesn't come on 04+...... What would you call the light interior then?

I took a look at an LS430 today. 04 with 34,000 miles, and $28500.

Was a nice car but had the black interior with the darker stained wood. It was very nice and i actually will now consider dark interior. It looked nice and will no doubt stay cleaner. But it's either Black or Ecru, I don't think I like the grey with dark wood, or at least it looks good too but is my last choice. I would have picked up that car, but it had some obvious repainting done to the front right fender.
