Default g35 wheels on an LS430?

Does anyone know if the G35 wheels (18" or 19") will clear the calipers on our LS430s? (Mine= 2001) Anything would be great. I know some the the 1st gen SCs have done them and look amazing. Thanks in advance!

i put the 19" coupe wheels on and they fit. the only thing is you will need hub rings because the bore on the wheels are bigger than the LS's hub. translation: the LS will ride like crap

The "need" for hubcentric rings is mostly BS, IME. I've NEVER had a vehicle (out of the 35 or so I've owned) that didn't ride out perfectly smoothly so long as the tires were good and the wheel/tire assembly was properly balanced. Probably 10 or more of these vehicles had aftermarket wheels with no hubcentric rings (or in some cases, goofy plastic hubcentric rings which aren't strong enough to do anything except perhaps position the wheel while the lugs are being snugged down). The LUGS locate the wheel perfectly on the hub unless you have some schit-for-quality wheels. Just tighten the lugs gradually and uniformly and you won't have problems.

Finally someone confirmed it works. I will have my 19" from my G35 sedan move to my 06 LS430 soon.

since this thread has already been brought back from the dead , I will bump it. I have bought 4 sets of used wheels in the last 6 weeks for my LS and none have panned out. Now I have a chance to buy a set of 19 inch g35 wheels for a very good price but want to know if they will bolt right on and fit like a glove. I tried bolting on a pair of roderick wheels I just bought only to find out they were dual drilled and I need wobble bolts to run them. So I am frustrated right now and need a set of beater wheels. If anyone has experience on this subject then please post up and pics would be nice too. There are lots of pics of them on 2GS thru google but none on an LS430 that I can find.

I have a beautiful set of chrome 19" RonJon wheels that will fit your car perfectly. I was going to put it on mine but I changed my mind because I really love the cushy feeling of the 17" sidewall. I'm selling them for $450

I've mounted the 19" G37's ( 10 spoke ones ) on my '02 LS430 and they clear our front calipers. It's pretty close, but they work. I've got pics on my phone if you want, pm me your cell and I can shoot them to you.
