Default 2091 miles of pleasure!!!..finally got her home!PICS!

Hello ALL -

Call me crazy, but I found my black/black LS430 ULTRA for the right price in IL so I took a trip there Thursday and drove it home Friday-Sunday...The BEST roadtrip ever for me.

What a way to get to REALLY get to know your car..

I must say after over 2000 miles and 2 whole days..NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER!!!

This car is fantastic..very quite (no rattles except for the subwoofer when bumpin it hard , very smooth on good or bad roads..
the sport suspension works very well on the twisties,
the air suspension is quiet and smooth,
the nav works great, but needs to be updated,
the ML system really in competition grade,
the seat comfort and adjustments are perfect,
the laser guided cruise control works like a charm (used it most of the time),
the rain sensing wipers is fantastic and works with snow as well,
the back massager is great for a little break when doing a looooong drive,
the climate controls feels perfect,
the brakes are soft, but will stop you, although this needs getting used to as the car is big/heavy,
the front calipers are HUGE!!
the auto door closers are good sellers,
the HIDs works great at night,

did I mention this car is VERY QUIET??

wow, what can I say, for a used car with just a hair above 65K miles, it's unbelievable!

Enjoy the pics!
wow..2091 MILES of pure pleasure!

Congratulations on your LS 430. The pictures are looking great. You'll enjoy many miles with your car. Happy driving! Keep in touch and let us know how your car is from time to time. Oh yeah, by the way, I would have done the same thing you did if I could find the color combo and price.

He wishes, but it was tooo much for a little 5 year old to endure that loooong drive..he enjoys riding in it with the back massagers and all...

Congratulations! I drove 1,280 miles to pick up my 05 Ultra in South Florida. I had the same problem with the "subwoofer" rattle, except in my case, the rattle was coming from the vent grills on the rear deck (they look like speaker grills, but they're actually vents for the rear a/c). The dealership put felt under the grills and the problem went away immediately.

Great looking car. So was the deal that good that even with the gas money you spent you're still ahead???

WAY AHEAD!!..

Shipping in a close container was going to be $1400.00... I spent $250.00 in gas (5 Fills @ $50.00 per fill - Premium). One hotel stay @ $48.00 and plane ticket @ $200.00 One way!

Total of about $500.00 + Misc of about $60.00 for little things like food and RED BULLS...lol

And for me to get the Color Combo I wanted BLACK/BLACK with the Options I wanted ULTRA @ LESS THAN 30K OUT THE DOOR Pricing...is definitel;y WORTH IT!

Mike:
Congrats in your new ride.I am "hunting " for one like this, hard to get one in FLA. Did you get yours from a dealer, if that is the case can you share the name? Thanks.
