LS430 UL with Air Suspension...Post your Issues Here
#47
Dr.
Who are they and what is the set up?
I have an 01 Sport and love the ride...little firmer than my 98 Ls400 was, but solid into and out of the corners and tolerable on bumpy stretches.

Bumping this thread......looking for guidance
I had 2 rear struts go out on my 2005 with 55k.
Luckily Lexus replaced the parts and picked up the labor...(well, most of it)
Here is my problem though, ever since I got the car back it pulls to one side....I was gonna get the car alligned, but I noticed the rear passenger is lower than driveres rear.......i took it to Sewell to have the leveling sensors evened out....they claim everything is even and ok....
except the pass still lower in the rear. I had someone hop in the back seat and the car raised itself about halk inch....but later went back down
The air struts are new....(so they say) what could be the issue....the Brain
I should be recieving my data controller by tomorrow, but I want to get that issue fixed before I install....
any help??

No problem.
They died suddenly, both my right and left rear did. They don't go bad gradually like a regular shock.
If you plan to keep the car for a long time and plan to keep the air suspension on the car, I would probably get the extended warranty. If you read the few threads about problems on the air suspension, many people said their struts go bad around 50k miles. And the price of the strut have gone up, the offical Lexus MSRP is $1040. But individual dealer can charge whatever they want, my particular dealer want $1285 for one, 2 hours of labor to install it. The total parts/labor bill from my dealer for one air strut is $1600.

I just checked Carson and this is the quote on their site. Since you researched this already, is this it?
