No. No car looks good with monster rims and no drop. Looks like a 4 x 4 without the drop.

Say a lady with 22"s on her LS...ya it did look a bit 4x4 ish...BUT DAMN! 22"s on a LS...
heard that you would need custom upper control arms (or what ever you call them) to be able to have 22"s and a drop.

It's advisable to use aftermarket upper & lower control arms with any oversized rim. Big wheels throw off the suspension geometry

seriously, having bigger doesn't mean it's good, if so, why not raise the car up and put on 30"? everything is about proportion, without that it's always weird.
and for sure you want to have new control arms, unless you get super skinny rim, coz' i think the tire will hit the control arm

aftermarket rim's 22's!
All dealers at Lexus, Mercedes and Acura say that aftermarket wheels aren't good for cars. Mainly the wheels that are 20 inches or more. I had some 19's on my car and they messed up my car and I was always favoring the right or the left ( ailignment) also it mess' up suspension on cars. The dealer wheels are the best way to go for resale also. Dealers don't offer extra for aftermarket wheels. I guess people buy what they like and thats what is so good about life, we have a choice, we just have to live with it.( MAY GODBLESS THE SURVIVORS IN THE GULFPORT AREA OF AMERICA AND ALL THOSE HAVING REAL PROBLEMS TODAY)

well, while we are at it, if dealers said that, then why 20"+ is bad for the car and the suspensions then? reason? what's wrong? reality? failure rate, etc...? i mean, if it is really something wrong, then i think it could be a much better reference.
and of course you don't sell the car with afetrmarket wheels, to get the most money you always put it back to stock and sell it that way
on alignment, it's more about the alignment shop, i don't see why having bigger wheels will affect that?
