Getting rid of "I agree" FOREVER?????
Is there anyone out the who knows of a way to get rid of the "I agree" screen from the navigation system and, more importantly, be able to use all navigation functions while driving? My wife is more than capable of typing info in while I drive but the lawyers won't let her!!!
I've searched these forums and found a toyota prius site that has a solution for these issues but they have yet to get back to me if there is a solution for the LS.
Anyone gotten through these issues?
Thanks!!

there is n o way you can get rid of the i agree screen, it's part of the nav software system, you just have to see it every time
for the typing, you can get the wiring diagram and overide a signal at the back of teh unit. connect it to the switch so you can switch it on and adjust the nav settings, and then when you are done, switch it back. you need a switch since that signal cannot be neglected since it helps to position you on the nav

" I agree" doesn't bug me so much.. it is the fact that a passenger cannot input navigation directions while driving that REALLY gets on my nerves. Stoplights just don't give enough time input info and why, if this car is perfectly capable of detecting if a passenger is in the seat, can't the software be updated to allow for passenger input?
There is a cable attachment available for the Toyota Prius Navigation that is "plug and play", and seeing that the nav system looks almost identical to the one on the LS I'm hoping it works with the LS too -- but they have not responded to my emails.
I guess the fact that no one has come up with a hack yet means that it just is not possible -- at least not easily. I'd be willing to pay several hundred dollars to get a "pro" to fix this issue without messing up the car's electronics, but I've yet to find anyone with the know-how.
Oh well... life goes on........
