1st gen lexus paint
My 1993 LS 400 paint looks mint after 10 years. I know that due to certain EPA regulations and restrictionst the paint guideline were changed some years later. Can anyone tell me why the paint holds up so well or how many coats of paint were used for these cars?

The better question is why the paint on any other car (perhaps Mercedes and BMW excluded, to be fair) makes them look like junkyard material after 10 years!
