Default Sports Suspension

I need some advice. My dealer says that all the cars coming in have the sports suspension. If I want a car without the sports suspension, I will haveto wait 3 months!

I am going to test drive a car with the sports suspension on Monday, but I told the dealer I don't want the high performance tires. I have a Mercedes C32 AMG now, and they are pretty much useless in the winter.
He said he would change out the tires and put the Dunlop normal tires on.

Any drawbacks to this? Also, I drove the top of the line LS430, and fell in love with the smooth ride. Does anyone have the sports suspension? Are you happy with it?

To clarify, what model Lexus are you seeking without the sport package?

The M+S tires are good for light snow type conditions, beyond that, a snow tire package is preferred if you encounter such conditions. The Tire Rack tire/wheel section may be able to assist you about winter tires.

I would like the 2004 LS430 with the Modern Luxury Package, no sports suspension. In comparison, how does it ride compared to the2004 LS430 with the adaptive Variable Air Suspension or the Sports Suspension.

I want the softest ride possible, and I want to be able to drive the car all year round.

Default Changing Tire Sizes

In addition, the brochure for the car says that the Euro Tuned Sports Suspension requires the 18" wheels, and the dealer wants to switch with the 17" wheels and the Dunlop tires originally on an Ultra Luxury car. Any views on this?

Get the air suspension and when its time for winter make sure you have winter tires only on your car. I drive in the snow 6 months out of the year and snow tires are a must. Think of your safety and your passengers......... Get the car w/ the 18" and get 16" w/ snow tires.

Agreed, you can order 4 Blizaaks from tirerack for the winter months. Best of luck to you with your new LS. You'll love it.

Interesting!!! the dealers in Mass say it is extremely difficult to get 2004 LS430 with sport suspension. Well, at least that's what they told my dad.
