How much lower did it become by moving the snap ring?
Does it change the ride quality?

I can't find that other thread I was looking for...I have some Q's on removing the struts.

1. Up front, did you have to remove the steeriing knuckle to remove the strut assembly?

2. In back, did you have to disconnect the driveshafts & brake calipers?

I probably won't get to installing my springs until Nov sometime and I want to have an idea what I'm in for. My past cars didn't have this multi-link set-up so it is new to me.

Thanks.

You don't have to remove any of the items you listed.............the back seat must be removed(it's simple)........You will need to buy or borrow a spring compressor.

Thanks. The manual says this-n-that and I was thinking to myself...geze...this is a whole lot of stuff to remove, what a PITA. Maybe I'll get to my springs sooner.

Get your Springs and Struts and we can install them at my house and take pics of the process for CL.

Because of the pitch of the road to the curb where the car was sitting caused the back to be higher.......I need to take a pic on flat ground...............I can lower the back snap rings but I am not sure what would happen when the weight of people are in back seat it may cause bottoming out or tires rubbing.

By the way were you the guy making that grill on saw on CL a few weeks back............it looked like billet??
