I don't think it would increase HP but I could be wrong. I would assume it would only be useful if you were planning on going FI.

The thicker head gasket would lower your compression, which would reduce the power your car made unless you were doing the supercharger along with it.

NA cars makes more HP with higher compression. Cars with forced induction and lower compression. can make more power cause you can turn up the boost.

I hope u dont mind if i put few words in it. If you are running N/A, you dont need it. If you will be running FI (forced induction like turbo and supercharger) with less than 8 psi, you dont need it. If you plan to run 12-18 psi like me, then it would wise to do it.

You will loose some low end. Besides the the head gaskets, you will also need to change the head bolts. Stock head bolts are stretchable and once they come out, they CAN NOT be reuse again. Secondly, since the thinner HG is installed, the heads will move further part and you will need an additional low intake gaskets. Here is the summary what u need.

1. HG
2. OEM Bolts or ARP Studs
3. Double the lower intake gaskets.

I have done it in my TT and I know it well. good luck. After all, I am the grandmaster of Lextreme website...LOL
