Default SC430 Wheels on 96LS400 Please advise.

I have heard that I can not use the tires that come stock on the SC430 wheels for my LS400. Does anyone know what tires need to be placed on the SC430 wheels to work with the LS? Help would be appreciated.

The SC430 wheels will not clear the big front brake calipers on 96 LS. You got 4 pistons aluminum caliper vs the 2 pistons on the SC430.

How is that possible, when the SC430 wheels are an 18" wheel compared to the 16" stock wheel? I've seen many LS400's rolling with the SC430 wheels. Are you sure you should be moderating something like this?

Apologies for my arogance. I assumed that it would work, and all that would need to be done would be tires which would fit right. However, I could've sworen I seen a few second gen's with the SC430 rims.

May be the 2nd gen LS you saw with SC430 wheels may have some kind of spacers on it, but I'm not sure how thick of the spacer you will need to make it to clear the caliper.

The SC430 wheels will fit all LS's from the years 90-94. LS's from 95-00 will have fitment problems up front. You may add spacers at it will work, but the wheels will stick out too far. This has already been tried.
