What component controls engine braking?
I'm still trying to figure out this problem I've been having for a veryy long time. So far I've came to the conclusion that the TPS has something to do with the problem.
Can anyone give me any clues to what happens to the T/C or transmission between 1800-2000 RPM?
From what I've gathered the torque converter stall speed is in this range and 'unlocks / locks'. What I don't get is why everyone says this happens at 45MPH because it can happen at any speed.
If I keep the car in 3rd and tap the gas around 1800-2000RPM at any speed the car jerks between engine braking and not engine braking I think. What is this?
