Default A/C dripping cold water inside cabin ?

Hi , I hope someone help me on this ?

I have a 91 , the AC works fine but the other day it "sprang a leak" inside the cabin
under the dash on the passenger side, some water is also coming out of the driver's
lower center vent. I assume its something happening with the drainage ,? Id there a
drain hose running in the cabin ? or is the drain outside plugged up somehow
backing up the water ? Has anyone else experienced this problem ?

I had a similar problem with my ALFA spider and a drian hose for the cowl vents .

Thanks in advance.

Probably trash in the evaporator core blocking the drain hose that runs outside under the car on the passenger side. I would use a screwdriver or an extension and stick it inside the evap case from under the car through the drainhose and just move it in and out and around being cautious not to jab the evaporator core. Probably just a leaf or something in there. Try that and see if everything goes back to normal.

What a coincidence, I just started having the same problem on my 92 LS a few days ago.

I have had my evaporator core replaced by Lexus just over a month ago. Do you think they might have messed something up when putting everything back in place? and if not and its something I should fix, where under the LS400 does this drain hose exit?

I've had this problem before also, and it was easily cured by cleaning out the drain hose, like lextek said.... good luck!

Can someone describe where this drain hose is or even better show an exploded view of the whole assembly?

They may forgot to reconnect the plumming for AC drainage, thus, allowing moisture to accumulate under the dash.
