Eibach pro springs with factory shocks

Eibach pro springs with factory shocks
Anyone out there using the Eibach pro spring kit (1" drop F/R) with factory shocks? I was told that it is not really necessary to do the shocks if I am not looking for additional performance, just reducing the fender gap.
