Warranty for state of California
Does anybody has problems with WarrantyGold in state of California ?
Their website say stg about "waiting for compliance w/ state (CA) regulation".
I need to get one soon. Anybody has suqqestion other than warranty gold?

Did you consider extended warranty from Lexus ? This would be the manufacturers warranty.
Although I have used third party extended warranty, the problem I have with tem is that they pay for labor rates that is customary in the area of service - They do check and correct the labor rate every year or so, but the rates they suugest is nowhere near what the dealer charges. Thus, you may, like me, pay out of your pocket, to cover the difference, for a warranty claim.
WG is one of the better Warranty companies, but before you buy, check the following: the prevailing labor rate in your area vs. what WG will pay [remember, a sizeabel chunk of the repair cost is labor]. Check for the coverage - The Lexus Extended Warranty definitely excludes more items than the WG warranty - but some of these items like door handle, etc., were not of concern for me. Also check who the warranty administrator is: This could make a BIG difference in filing and processing claims.
FYI, this matter is regularly discussed at Edmunds forum.
