Can anyone make any recommendations or suggestions on how to re-build or make firmer the leather seats on a 94 ls? I have noticed they wear-out to some degree and lose some of their firmness. 150K of getting in and out would seem to take some toll on the seats!

Any thoughts or suggestions.

An upholstery shop will re-stuff the seats with foam to give some of the cushion back.

The cushion is only half of it though as the leather often gets hard if exposed to the sun or heat. Yours is a 1994 so I'd imagine it not to be too bad if it was garage kept or you had tinted windows.

I'd ask to see some examples of their work, or some of the work they have in their shop at the moment. You're probally want the tight factory look, but some places give you that bunched leather finish (like buick or caddy leather); to cushy for me.

Thanks a ton for the help and comments. Sounds like it was a great move. I also have my seat fully adjusted due to the softness of the foam.

Looking forward to getting the firmness back in the seat.
