Post i need a garage

I have to park outside under a tree so needless to say my lex gets dirty. Just look at what has been falling on it lately, all this ****. Man I wish I had a garage!!!! I clean these things off and then more fall, arrgh. Last week it rained and the day after my car had a bunch of yellow spots on it....pollen, LOTS of it.

Find a garage to park you Lex if you can (or find a big tree) The weather in the midwest has been unpredictable in the last few years. I had over two thousands dollars of hail damage on my Nissan few years ago. I couldn't avoid that one, that was around noon time and I was at work.

Huh I'm confused?

So anyway, the tree I park under has dropped all those things so I'm good for a while now.

Great Line!

Earl, if you can't secure garage parking, consider a decent quality car cover...if you use it regularly it will make a difference long-term in preserving the finish on your car.

Sean,
The car cover is an idea, but that would be a huge hassle, and plus all my neighbors would laugh at me

you dont seem very enthusiastic about doing whats right for your car and not for you. lol even though u might not have a garage, investing in a car cover is a very good decision. who cares what your neighbors think. you have a lexus. and their point is? lol

Hey don't get me wrong here, I am enthusiastic about keeping my car looking good, however the car cover is just not in my deck of cards. I say it would be a hassle because I use my car a lot. Oh yeah, I handwash my car at least once a week so I think I'm doing what's right for my car.

The bottom line here is that if you park your car on the street/outside it's going to get dirty no matter what.

amen to that. If you are gonna park your car outside make sure that it is not black.... actually i wouldnt recommend parking your car outside unless it is gold.

a buddy of mine had a car that was "champagne" color and the only time he washed his car was when he got it for free from a gas station, but his car always looked cleaner than my black car.
