95 LS400 A/C Whines Bad
I have a 95 with 100K and it runs fine. The A/C works exceptionally well but when the compressor is on it whines linearally with the RPM. It is kind of annoying and definitely noticable, when it's off the engine is silent as can be.
I once had n Acura Integra that did the same thing.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this without replacing all the A/C components. I imagine it's the pump/ac motor which is something that sounds expensive.
What do you guys think?

It sounds like the bearings may be wearing out in the compressor. Or the pulley may be going bad. Since the compressor still works, maybe you can have an a/c shop take a look at it before it seizes to avoid a very costly repair.

A lot of cars make this noise when the A/C is on, almost every car I've owned, maybe I just have bad luck. I'll have someone take a look at it.
