For what it's worth
First post here and wanted to give props to all who've made this site so helpful. From this site I've done the temp coolent sensor change, the modified air box, the muffler delete, and got to the bottom of p0430. On the code, it was a loose tensioner causing the timing belt to jump a tooth causing bad mpg rough starting idle and all the other bs that goes with that mind**** of a code. The modded air box and muffler delete is a must. Got to "Mericanize" your LS. Mine still sounds classy after the mods. Next steps are tint, Megan coils, and new shoes. Just wrapped in matte brown....not super thrilled, but an it's hard to butcher an LS

The mechanic said the loose tensioner caused the TB and I don't know enough to doubt him, but I think the water pump was leaking on the camshaft sensor causing the p0430. The previous owner didn't change the pump with the belt and it has 150k. Either way bought a pump kit off eBay and since the muffler delete, she's breathing real nice. Highly recommend muffler delete, lighter is better. Also the power steering acv bypass is another helpful thread no more power steering pump barfing on the alternator
