I have a 1990 Ls400 and I noticed that when I am driving in regular weather ( no snow ) I noticed that the TRAC light comes on in the dash but it doesn't shut off untill I turn the car off and restart it. this has been happening more frequently lately and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or know what it is. and is there a way to keep the light from going on.

Is your brake fluid low? If not then it is either the circuit board going out or something in the TRAC system itself. I would take it by a dealer for a diagnosis, it could be many reasons.

Actually the light hasn't been going on in the past couple days, but the dealership was saying when I talked to them on the phone that they could only find the problem when the light was on because there would be a system error code that would show up on their computer.
