It just monitored driving habbits and braking times etc ...cut about 100 bucks off my monthly rate ...but also hastened the death of my ecu won't be using that anymore that's for sure

And why in the very first post didn't you say you had some sort of aftermarket device plugged into the car??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Where do you plug those devices? ODB port???

Well maybe because no one knew a simple device such as this could cause catastrophic damage... the ecu failed in a typical ls400 fashion with classic symptoms ....please tell me how I was supposed to know that?

I guess they owe you an ecu then. Kinda explains why one time all is good then it dumps on you. So the rebuild ecu must have tested good. This all makes me wonder how many ecu's get messed up from the various states doing the smog thing.
