Default Brake light playing peekaboo

Got a 93' LS. My brake light will come on and go off at random times. Sometimes it will slowly appear and then slowly fade away (creepy). Only does this like once every few weeks. Brake fluid is fine and the brakes feel normal for everyday driving, E-brake works well. Could it be a loose wire? A wire touching something? Etc?

Check the tail lights failure sensor module in the trunk room. Some solder points or the connector may be not in good conditons.

1st gen LSs are known to have brittle wiring harnesses at the trunk hinge, driver's side. constant open/close causes the wires to break and short each other out. odds are you have this problem.
