Help! Cold slip & smoke after trans/motor mount replacement
1999 LEXUS LS400 >
COLD SLIP > usually ONLY AFTER the FIRST start-up of the day - RARELY a second time on the same day. i reverse out of my stall - then put it in drive. it takes between 10-15 FEET TO GRAB then functions normally for MOST of the day, UNLESS there is a LONG period of NON-USE (i havent detailed the exact span of time).
TRANSMISSION FLUID SMOKE CHOKE (lots of it) > this happens ONLY AFTER HARD DRIVING [FREEWAY @ 60+ MPH] it DOESNT happen when i drive CONSERVATIVELY.
i have been using about a QUART of fluid on a WEEKLY basis. i believe that one or both of these issues were the result of having broken TRANSMISSION & MOTOR MOUNTS. if the ENGINE & TRANS IS NOT STABILIZED - EVERYTHING is VIBRATING AND RUNNING ERRATICLY under the hood. LINES/CONNECTIONS and EVERYTHING ARE GOING IN ALL DIRECTIONS AND BEING STRESSED TO THE OUTER MOST LIMITS.
BEFORE having the replacement - LOTS of fluid would be on the ground in the parking stall.
AFTER the replacement - there is NO fluid accumulated in my cars stall.
ANY INPUT/ADVICE will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!
