fuel tank top off problem, 2000 LS400
Hello,
Having problem with top off tank with gas, in some fuel stations it clicks out as if where full, but the tank is less than a quarter tank full!
While in some other fuel stations it will go all over full mark without cutt off & gas will spill out
What could be wrong?

usually it's the pump handle that determines the cut off, but there needs to be a seal against the handle and your filler heck.
as the fuel reaches the tip of the pump, fuel gets pushed back into the handle triggering it to turn off. if there is no seal, fuel will keep flowing and spilling.
after inserting the pump handle into the filler neck, push it down a bit so it can 1) seal properly, and 2) hook into the filler neck.
