Default exhaust question

i'm about to invest in a catback system for my 91Ls and i would like some help deciding what size the pipes should be. i want something that i won't have to upgrade if i decide to turbocharge or supercharge down the line, but i also don't want pipes so big that it kills my low end performance. so if someone could point me in the right direction i'd appreciate it!! also what size are the stock pipes??
