looking for 1995 LS400 exhaust headers
Hi, I'm Martin 29yo and from Germany,
i call a 1995 UCF20 LS400 RHD (imported from England) my own.
Except the wheel setup thread, this is my first post in this forum.
I just removed the middle silencer last summer, so the exhaust system is now true dual ... but with these two massive resonators on each side left
So when the season starts I'll take the LS to a nearby exhaust shop to replace everything from the cats to the tips with some nice 2,5" or 3" stainless stell piping and mufflers
But once I'm on it .. I think want to replace these terrible designed stock exhaust manifolds with some nice stainless headers followed by 200cpi cats.
After all I couldn't find much information about 1995 LS400 headers .. maybe something for the SC drivers or the 2000+ LS models ... and some posts about the S&S headers, which used to crack (all of them?) and aren't available anymore

The PPE headers don't seem to fit the pre-2000 LS400 ...
And the Rush Imports site is down .. I heard they have also 1UZ headers?!
So are there any headers known to fit the 1995 LS400 models?

taken from the exhaust thread, there are s&s headers available but probably need modification to fit properly.
keep reading exhaust threads. there are not a lot of options when it comes to headers for our motors. good luck!

When I search for S&S headers in the forum or on google I only manage to find very old (2010 and before) threads, some about the S&S headers manufactory closing down in 2010/11, and some about the problem that the S&S headers (maybe just the early ones?!) getting cracks at the welds :-/

Maybe I'll try them out .. only the shipping costs to germany are bad .. because, when they don't fit (even with modification) I'll won't get them off ever again in germany -_- ... and no one from the US would by a new set of headers, when he can get them with way less shipping costs :-/

We only tested our headers on the late model LS400. They may fit the other years or right hand drive cars, I just can't say for sure.
