Help identifying heater valve 87240-50050
Hello
Does anyone know which model this belongs to?
I had ordered the heater valve for my 96 Lexus and got this instead. The valve on my car has a third hose going to the defroster. This one has only two hoses. I am currently negotiating with the ebay seller to take it back. They sent me a shipping label good only if posted in the US (I am in Canada) as goodwill.
I ordered 87240-50050 from Sewell Lexus and the ebay info said it would fit LS400 95-97.
I am also including a picture of the the valve on the car. Its been repaired with plumbers putty but there's a small leak still.

That looks like the heater control valve I recently replaced on my 2000 LS. The 98-00 valve only has two hoses. You can see a picture of mine in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...leaky-hcv.html The part number for the 98-00 valve is 87240-50090 though. I think you got a 98-00 valve that was mistakenly labelled with the 95-97 valve part number.
